Not my most elegant tutorial, and a rather simplified version of how i add highlights, but hopefully it'll prove usefull nonetheless. If you have suggestions for other tutorials, feel free to leave a comment here.

This was made in Photoshop CS3 but I'm sure it will work in other programs and versions. ;) This also works for highlighting parts of the mane and tail.
